چکیده

Cardiovascular diseases is one of the major public health and medical concerns globally. Atherosclerosis a condition where plaque build-up narrows blood vessels, ultimately preventing sufficient flow to heart. In current research, role played by human innate immune system in development atherosclerosis topic interest. Although specific relations require further studies, macrophages have been identified play key progression due their ability mediate inflammation. Nevertheless, mechanism that how cause inflammatory responses atherosclerotic process what risk factor can describe inflammation clinic still remains unclear. This paper reviews trigger relationships atherosclerosis. this study, Interferon Regulatory Factor 3 (IRF3) its-related cytokine interleukin 1β was found be upregulated patients with acute coronary disease. Afterwards, over-expressed IRF3 level its RNA transcription confirmed ApoE -/- mice. Our results indicated up-regulated during process, which might potential biomarker disease clinic.

LOX-1 protein, A Biomarker in the Prognosis of Atherosclerosis

LOX-1 is a class E scavenger receptor that mediates the uptake of oxLDL by vascular cells. LOX-1 is involved in endothelial dysfunctions, monocyte adhesion, the proliferation, migration, and apoptosis of smooth muscle cells, foam cell formation, platelet activation, as well as plaque instability; all of these events are critical in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis. These LOX-1-dependent bio...

Ablation of Interferon Regulatory Factor 3 Protects Against Atherosclerosis in Apolipoprotein E-Deficient Mice.

The secretion of adhesion molecules by endothelial cells, as well as the subsequent infiltration of macrophages, determines the initiation and progression of atherosclerosis. Accumulating evidence suggests that IRF3 (interferon regulatory factor 3) is required for the induction of proinflammatory cytokines and for endothelial cell proliferation. However, the effect and underlying mechanism of I...

Hematopoietic interferon regulatory factor 8-deficiency accelerates atherosclerosis in mice.

OBJECTIVE Inflammatory leukocyte accumulation drives atherosclerosis. Although monocytes/macrophages and polymorphonuclear neutrophilic leukocytes (PMN) contribute to lesion formation, sequelae of myeloproliferative disease remain to be elucidated. METHODS AND RESULTS We used mice deficient in interferon regulatory factor 8 (IRF8(-/-)) in hematopoietic cells that develop a chronic myelogenous...

Interferon regulatory factor 3-dependent responses to lipopolysaccharide

The synthesis of interferon (IFN)β and IFN-inducible factors elicited by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) depends on the transcriptional activity of interferon regulatory factor (IRF)-3 downstream of Toll-like receptor (TLR)4. To examine the ability of human newborns to mount TLR4-mediated IRF-3-dependent responses, we analyzed the pattern of genes expressed upon addition of LPS to cord blood or cord b...
